While I was looking around an Oxfam charity shop I came across this old board game: Snakes and Ladders.  The board looked exactly like a Chutes and Ladders board, except instead of chutes there were snakes. 

Was 'Chutes and Ladders' originally 'Snakes and Ladders'??  I think the change was a good move.

    Yes! Apparently Milton Bradley thought "Snakes & Ladders" would scare American kids. They never met E. LOL
